Botox & Dermal Fillers
As we age, facial wrinkles and creases begin to appear as the underlying collagen and elastin fibers in the skin begin to break down. While this breakdown is part of the natural aging process, it can also result from squinting, frowning, smiling and other normal activities. Botox relaxes the muscle and prevents new wrinkles from appearing, while dermal fillers fill in deep wrinkles and reverse fat loss in the face.
We additionally use Botox as a treatment for hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) by injecting Botox into the underarms, palms of the hands or the feet.
By combining Botox with fillers, we can offer a simple, non-surgical alternative to a face lift. Dermal fillers (such as Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, Sculptra, and Perlane) are also used to perform lip augmentations, treat frown lines, smile lines, vertical lip lines, marionette lines, and even crows feet.
