How can I smooth out the lines around my eyes and/or brow/forehead?
BOTOX® is an injectable treatment for wrinkle protection and skin tightening. It is inserted into your muscles to temporarily smooth the lines around the sides of your eyes (“crow’s feet”), between your brows (“frown lines”), and on your forehead. It targets one of the underlying causes of those lines: muscle contractions from squinting, frowning, and raising the eyebrows. BOTOX temporarily reduces this muscle activity, so you’ll begin to notice a visible smoothing of these lines. You’ll still be expressive, and you’ll look like yourself… just a smoother version.
How long does the treatment take?
BOTOX treatment takes approximately 10 minutes, and requires no downtime or recovery (it’s often called a “lunchtime procedure”), so you can get in, get out, and get on with your day.
What about all the other lines on my face — how can I smooth those out?
Sunning, sipping, smooching, and smiling. Chewing, chatting, chuckling, and cheering. Living lines are a part of aging. When all your living starts lining up, it’s time to think about filling those lines in. Treatment with fillers takes a little longer, around 15-60 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated.
How do I know which products should be used?
Lines of expression that appear when we smile or show emotion need BOTOX:
Crow's feet at the corner's of the eyes;
Frown lines between the brows; and
Forehead lines that appear when eyebrows are raised.
Nasolabial folds that extend from the edges of the nose to the corners of the mouth;
Marionette lines that extend from the edges of the mouth downwards towards the jaw; and
Lip lines, also called lipstick lines, smoker's lines, or vertical lines, that extend outwards from the lips.
Areas in the mid-face or cheek area that have lost volume need VOLUMA:
cheek lines from sleeping on the front or side; and
loss of cheek volume.
For moderate to severe facial lines, VOLLURE will give a softer, smoother contour.
