Remember when you were a kid, and you could easily do multiple sit-ups without breaking a sweat? Unsurprisingly, with age, weight gain, and/or childbirth, many of us find that a sit-up has become a thing of the past. Our bodies have changed, and with it, the tone of our abdominal muscles. We may also have loose skin from weight loss or childbirth. The result of the loss of muscle tone and loose skin: a protruding or loose/sagging abdomen, sometimes accompanied by low back pain, skin rashes, extended stretch marks, or abdominal discomfort.
