When you're ready to think about Breast Augmentation, you have some choices to think about, and to discuss with Dr. Meadows at your Breast Augmentation consultation. You will want to talk about your desired breast size, shape and contour, and whether you prefer to have the implants placed under the muscle or over:
Placing a breast implant under the muscle usually results in softer and more natural looking breasts both standing and lying down;
If you already have more natural breast tissue, breast implants placed over the muscle will look natural, and involve a faster and less painful recovery.
You will also want to consider whether you would like to have saline breast implants, or silicone breast implants, both will give you beautiful results. Dr. Meadows will discuss all of these options with you at your consultation.
