WHAT IS THE VAMPIRE FACIAL?
This is the amazing new procedure that stars like Kim Kardashian and Bar Refaeli are raving about! The Vampire Facial is an advancement on our Microneedling skin-rejuvenation procedure. It is minimally-invasive, helps reduce the signs of aging, and improves the appearance of scars. Microscopic needles are used to create equally microscopic “puncture wounds” in the skin, tricking your body into thinking it’s been “wounded.” Your body’s natural healing processes will then begin to manufacture collagen to repair those punctures. The results are impressive: thicker, smoother, younger-looking, more radiant skin! The Vampire Facial can be done anywhere on your body where you may wish to have thicker skin or minimal scarring.
HOW IS THE VAMPIRE FACIAL DONE?
First, a numbing cream is applied to your skin. Your provider will draw blood (just like getting a blood test done) and isolate growth factors in platelet-rich plasma from your own blood. This growth factor serum is then applied to your skin. The serum is needled in, followed by another layer of serum, activating multipotent stem cells within your skin. Finally, a soothing mask is applied to complete the treatment. The multipotent stem cells then develop into new collagen, new blood vessels, and new fatty tissue as it tries to "repair" the skin that was never actually injured!
